About the Lab

The Matarese Lab focuses to the molecular mechanisms regulating immune responses, with particular emphasis on the interplay between metabolism, inflammation and autoimmunity. Our research integrates immunology, molecular biology and translational medicine to identify novel therapeutic targets and biomarkers. The lab is committed to advancing scientific knowledge through interdisciplinary collaboration, rigorous methodology and international partnerships.
